Real Estate Marketing: Mini Pumpkins

As a REALTOR®, my job is to build relationships. It’s hard to do that when you do a single transaction and then never talk to them again. I also can’t do my best for them when I don’t know them very well. Did you know the typical homeowner lives in a home for around 13 years? That means you will likely need my services as a REALTOR® every 13 years, and I would love to be a resource for you in the meantime. My goal is to have earned your trust and your business, and to have served you well enough that you will refer me to your friends and family too. It’s hard to do that when little to no effort is made.
One thing I enjoy about being a REALTOR® is building those relationships, meeting people and marketing. Marketing is the creative side of business and I am all about creativity. In real estate, we like to come up with “touches” or a way to keep in contact with a client, potential client, friends or family in hopes to earn your business and your referrals. I want you to know that I am here for you. Whether you just bought a home or you just have a question about making the right updates to your forever home – I’m here for you!
Enough about that, today I’m posting about one of my touches – mini pumpkins! A couple of guys in my office mentioned delivering pumpkins and I thought it was a great idea. It’s nearly Fall and who doesn’t love a tiny pumpkin? I always peruse on Pinterest to see what other “realtor pumpkin” ideas have been shared and it did not disappoint. I found a lot of cute tags for inspiration and it added that finishing touch to it.

- I was able to connect with a local pumpkin patch who gave me a great deal on purchasing 200 mini pumpkins.
- Then I went to Canva to create my custom pumpkin tags. *Be sure to put your name or social media handle on these tags.
- I added a business card.
- I went to Hobby Lobby to pick up some twine as well as some small clear bags to put the pumpkins in. A lot of realtors will tie the tag and business card directly onto the pumpkin stem, but my pumpkins were small and not all of them had a stem so I needed an alternative.
- Assemble and deliver to your people!

Send me a picture of your finished pumpkins, I’d love to see them!
